1.5% of profits committed to Britain's woodlands
Through our chosen charity, The Woodland Trust, this direct commitment to UK reforestation and native woodland restoration grows with the performance of our business.
One commitment we can stand behind
Responsible business is weakened by vague language. We have therefore chosen a commitment that is specific, connected to our performance and straightforward to explain: 1.5% of company profits is allocated to UK reforestation and woodland restoration through The Woodland Trust, our chosen charity.
The model is deliberately simple. When Blueridge performs, the value of the contribution to The Woodland Trust increases. It makes environmental contribution part of how we grow rather than a campaign added around it.

Replant Britain
Our name for the commitment delivered through The Woodland Trust.
Replant Britain directs our contribution to The Woodland Trust in support of its work protecting and restoring UK woodland. The purpose is not to make a broad claim about sustainability; it is to back an established charity focused on woods, trees and the habitats they sustain.
Native Woodland Restoration
We support work that restores woodland as a functioning habitat, not simply a count of trees planted.
The Right Trees, in the Right Place
Native species and local conditions should guide planting decisions, with oak, birch and rowan among the species a project may use.
Local Participation
Where possible, we favour projects that involve nearby communities and build a lasting connection with the restored landscape.
Long-Term Stewardship
Credible restoration needs care beyond planting day, so ongoing protection and management matter in the projects we support.
Why native woodland?
Woodland restoration is tangible, local and long-term. Done responsibly, it can strengthen habitats while creating benefits that communities can see and share.
Biodiversity
Native woodland supports wildlife, improves ecosystems and helps restore natural habitats.
Communities
Local restoration projects create opportunities for community involvement and environmental education.
Future Generations
Healthy woodlands provide environmental and social benefits that extend far beyond today.
Responsibility is wider than reforestation
The 1.5% commitment is our lead environmental action, but it does not replace the everyday responsibilities of running a sound consultancy: acting transparently, treating people properly and considering the long-term consequences of our advice and decisions.
Governance
Strong accountability, transparency and ethical decision-making.
People
Supporting employees, clients and partners through respectful and responsible business practices.
Long-Term Thinking
Building solutions, relationships and technology designed to create lasting value.
Credibility requires a record
A commitment should be possible to follow over time. As Replant Britain develops, we will publish updates that distinguish between money committed, contributions made to The Woodland Trust and outcomes reported by the charity.
We will describe progress as it happens rather than presenting ambition as achievement.
A practical commitment, built to last
We are starting with a clear contribution, a defined UK focus and a commitment to report honestly as the programme develops.
